Privacy Policy
Last updated: not yet published (pre-launch build)
This Privacy Policy describes how the MIFT platform collects and uses information. It reflects the actual technical architecture of the platform. Nothing in this policy claims certifications, offices, officers, or compliance affiliations that MIFT does not currently hold.
1. Professional registration information
Information voluntarily submitted through the Professional Pilot Program, Professional Network, Training Interest, Collaboration requests, and Professional Feedback forms may include: name, professional email, professional title, organization, country, professional field, jurisdictions of work, stated professional interests, and consent to follow-up. This information is stored separately from assessment activity.
2. Platform analytics
Privacy-conscious technical and usage events are recorded to document MIFT implementation and professional adoption. Events include categorical fields such as event type, MIFT tool, interface language, tool version, anonymized session identifier, and where voluntarily provided, country and professional field.
3. Assessment data
MIFT assessment tools are intended for educational and professional decision-support using anonymized and categorical inputs only. Do not submit names of children, dates of birth, home addresses, passport numbers, court case numbers, immigration identifiers, confidential client information, uploaded court documents, detailed allegations of abuse, or identifiable factual narratives about actual disputes.
4. Storage & providers
Application data is stored in a MongoDB database managed by the platform provider (Emergent). Transactional confirmation emails are sent through Emergent's managed Resend integration. No third-party marketing tools are integrated at this stage.
5. Retention & security limitations
Records are retained while relevant to MIFT professional-program administration and implementation evidence. No system can guarantee absolute security; MIFT applies reasonable technical controls, does not accept case-identifying content, and does not require credentials over email.
6. Correction & deletion
A professional may request correction or deletion of their registration information by writing to the reply-to address used on MIFT confirmations. Analytics events are pseudonymous and non-identifying by design.
7. What MIFT does NOT do
MIFT does not sell information, does not run marketing campaigns without separate consent, does not create attorney-client relationships, does not determine legal rights, and does not provide legal advice.
